Malay Translation Services
We have an office in Kuala Lumpur. Malay is a local language for us, not a remote one.
Bahasa Melayu
Bahasa Malaysia and Bahasa Indonesia are close relatives and they are not the same language. Vocabulary diverges, spelling diverges, and formal registers diverge sharply. Indonesian readers spot Malaysian text immediately, and Malaysian readers spot Indonesian. We translate into each separately. If you are told the two are interchangeable, you are being told something that is convenient rather than true.
Company incorporation documents, employment contracts, SSM filings, tender submissions, halal certification paperwork, technical manuals, and property agreements.
Malay uses the Latin alphabet, so it looks deceptively easy. The difficulty is register: Malaysian formal and legal Malay is heavily formulaic, and a translator who does not know the formulas produces text that is grammatically correct and obviously foreign to any official reading it.
